Admissions criteria
Document requirements and entry criteria by program level are published on the admissions page. Master's entry requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Doctoral entry requires a master's degree. English proficiency evidence is required where prior schooling was not in English.
Academic calendar
Courses start on designated Mondays within active academic terms and run for eight weeks. The add/drop period for each term is one week. Term dates are published in the academic catalog.
Technology requirements
A computer meeting the published minimum specification, reliable high-speed internet, a supported browser and an email account. Students complete online orientation before course access is granted. Minimum specification and software requirements are listed in the academic catalog.

Costs, cancellation and refunds

Tuition and related costs
Tuition per credit hour and per program, and the full fee schedule, are published on the tuition and costs page.
Cancellation policy
If UBIS denies an application for admission, all monies paid other than the application fee are refunded. An applicant who provides written notice of cancellation within three business days of signing the Enrollment Agreement or making the initial payment, whichever occurs later, is entitled to a refund of all monies paid except the application fee. During the Add/Drop period of the student's first academic term, all funds remitted other than the application fee are eligible for refund if enrollment is cancelled by the student or the University.
Refund policy

Students who withdraw from the University or withdraw from all courses during a term must submit written notice to the University.

If a student withdraws during the Add/Drop period, applicable tuition and fees for the affected enrollment will be removed from the student account in accordance with the University's Cancellation Policy.

After the Add/Drop period, tuition charges become billable. Any funds remitted to UBIS that exceed the total tuition and fees due for billable courses will be refunded to the student.

Refunds are processed after all applicable charges have been calculated and any outstanding financial obligations to the University have been satisfied.

Transfer credit

Transfer credit into UBIS
Applicants may submit official transcripts for evaluation. Credit is awarded where it applies to the declared degree requirements. Master's applicants may transfer up to 18 of the 36 credits in the MBA, subject to academic review.
Transfer of UBIS credit to other institutions
The transfer of credit earned at UBIS to another institution is at the discretion of that institution. UBIS cannot guarantee that credit earned here will be accepted elsewhere, and acceptance depends on the receiving institution's own policies and accreditation requirements.
Doctoral prior learning
Applicants admitted through the ABD completion pathway may earn up to 40 credits of advanced standing toward the DBA, based on a prior learning assessment of completed doctoral coursework.

Student support and records

Career services
UBIS provides a career centre through third-party providers. Students can explore careers, assess skills, build a resumé and access career-readiness training, including soft-skills development. Career workshops cover CV and motivation letter writing, job search and interview preparation, available as scheduled one-to-one sessions. No employment outcome is guaranteed.
Alumni services
Graduates join an international alumni network. Alumni can request academic documents, transcripts and enrolment or degree verification from the Registrar.
Accessibility
Prospective and current students with disabilities who need facilities or accommodations should contact the Director of Student Operations. Requests are handled individually.
Complaints and grievances
Students may raise a grievance at any stage of their studies. The procedure is published on the policies page and moves from the course instructor to student services to a written appeal to the Academic Dean. Complaints about the institution may also be submitted in writing to the Higher Education Licensure Commission through the OSSE/HELC public complaint process.
Student records
Students can generate an unofficial transcript from the student portal. Official transcripts and attestations are available through the academic document request page.
Completion and graduation data

UBIS maintains completion and graduation information and makes it available to students and prospective students on request from the Registrar at registrar@ubisglobal.com.
